It's Been a While, Hasn't It?

I just realized that it’s been a while since my last post. The past week and a half have just flown by, and I didn’t even realize it. Let’s see… what to share?

We’ve been really busy at the HBISM getting ready for the grand opening of our next exhibit – “History of the Ukulele” – which will feature ukes from all eras of surfing culture. We have some awesome talent and personalities lined up for the opening event, so it should be a party! If you’re in HB on May 21st, drop by for the festivities.

Here’s the really exciting news. It looks as though I will be attending the WWDC keynote (at the very least) early next month as a contributing editor for Macsimum News. Being that I’m already on the left-hand coast, and since Dennis has other commitments, I get to take the drive up the coast to San Francisco. I’m all giddy with excitement. It’ll be a good chance to hook up with an old high school buddy too. More as it develops.

Finally, I’m frantically prepping for my Mac Gathering presentations. Fortunately, I don’t have as much to do as I first thought I did, so I should be in good shape after all. I will be happy when I can finally get more than four hours of sleep a night. I don’t do very well on anything less than seven.

There’s lots of other great stuff in the works here at the beach hut. More on them later.
