I Almost Forgot…
I can’t believe I nearly forgot about this, but if you’re a MacAddict magazine subscriber (or regularly buy it from the newsstand), the August issue will feature the standard “50 Bugs of OS X” they do whenever a major OS X rev is released.
Yours truly was lucky enough to have contributed seven of the 50 (or so) bugs that’ll be listed. This marks a big moment, as this is my very first magazine editorial type contribution. The RCT (Really Cool Thing) about it is, I’m actually getting paid for the gig. That’s right — cold, hard cash for stuff that’s rattling around in my skull.
How scary is that?
Site Will Be Down Saturday
For all (2) of you who stop in on a regular basis, this is a little note to let you know the server will be going offline for (at least) part of this Saturday while I physically move it from one house to the other. If all goes as I hope it will, everything should be back in place by late afternoon.
I’d forgotten just how much I hate moving, and in the 5 years we’ve been where we’re at, we’ve amassed at least twice as much stuff as when we moved in. Good grief! I’ve already made 3 trips to Goodwill, and will have to make at least one more before we’re done. Last night, I came across boxes hidden in the rafters of the garage that hadn’t been opened since the last place we were in. It was full of old Mac books about OS 8.5 and the like. Oh, the memories…
