Uh oh — I just discoved the Asteroids widget for Dashboard. That’s it, all productivity goes out the window now. Just one play, and I’m already jonesing for more.

I can’t even begin to count the quarters that I dropped into the game during my teenage years, but I probably hold shares in Atari somwhere. I could walk into an arcade w/ $10 in my pocket and spend it all on Asteroids. Now I can play as much as I want for free. The play is pretty good too, with the ship responding pretty much just how I remembered it. I just wish the widget “screen” were a little bigger. Otherwise, a pretty darn good job recreating the game.

I think I’m gonna have to extend a few deadlines for next week. Okay, time for just one more game before I start making calls…
