Everything Back In Place

Okay… I do believe that everything is back in place now, and the site as a whole is working the way I want it to. I’m satisfied. For now at least. Maybe. If you come across something that’s not quite right, please let me know right away.

I (finally) managed to get through my big pile of reader mail today. It’s always a good feeling when I’m able to do that. It seems as though I’m getting my fair share of support type questions lately. I don’t mind at all, in fact it’s fun to tackle them. But it sure can be interesting trying to troubleshoot problems through email sometimes.

So, now that reader mail is out of the way, I’ve got other catching up to do. There are a few posts that I’m working on which cover various things that are rattling around in my skull. I’ve got to finish up Yasu 2.0 (as a Universal Binary, naturally), and then I’ve got to squash a few bugs in COX, rebuilding it as a UB too.

Speaking of Yasu. As far as the new icon contest goes, it appears that it was a flop. I got a few responses from individuals who expressed interest, but as of yet, I’ve gotten nothing “tangible” in my inbox. I may just go with the one user who questioned my sanity about why I would want to change the icon at all, thinking it would be a huge mistake on my part (thanks for the input John). So, for those of you who said you’d do something, now is the time to get it to me by sending your submission to the contest email address. What ever I get by this Friday, end of day, is what will be considered and open for voting. The only way I’ll accept anything beyond that date is if you contact me in advance to give me a ETA of when you plan to have something ready — and it better be good if you do. :D
