That's a Wrap

Well, the MacGathering is finally behind me, as are several other projects. I’m glad to see the commitments I’ve agreed to fulfilled. But through all of it, I’ve been thinking hard about taking a break from my online presence in order to recharge the batteries and get a fresh perspective on life and family. In a nutshell, I’m just plain burned out.

So with that, it’s time to step back from the show for a spell and spend some time with the wife and kids, and learn to live life away from the keyboard. I’ve been so up against the wall for so long now, with one commitment after another looming over my head, I’ve nearly forgotten that life is a gift which shouldn’t be squandered on fruitless pursuits. I think the passing of my father-in-law last month finally drove the point home.

Don’t worry. I’m not going away for good. Just look at it as I’m going on summer hiatus. I’ll be back before you know it, tanned, recharged, sporting a whole new look, and ready to take on the world again.
