WP Themes Fixed for IE Float Bug

06.12.06 | Wordpress

Just a quick note to say both of my WP themes got a quick fix over the weekend for the silly Internet Explorer 6 float bug, which basically makes the right menu bar move to the bottom if the content in the main area is too wide.

Since I don’t have access to a PC to test with myself, I’ve gotta take the word of you Win users who let me know it’s not working. Thanks to all who did.

Oh, and the “Ala Moana” theme also got the standard “meta” area added to it at the request of a user. So head on over to the themes page and grab the new versions today.

Using the theme right now - looks great :-)

I’ve been considering ’switching’ to a Mac from PC and now with ‘Bootcamp’ being released for use on the Intel Macs, there seems to be less and less barriers.

Why do you prefer the Mac? Or is it just the case that you’ve never used the PC?

I started my career in print design, and Mac was pretty much the industry standard. It just stuck with me I guess.

Now, I use both Mac & PC for my day job. The PC does what it’s supposed to do wonderfully, but I still always return to my Mac at the end of the day. To me it’s just easier to keep in shape, and more accessible on an OS level.

Bottom line, a tool is a tool. Which ever gets the job done in the best manner, that’s what I’m going to use.

My statement about not having a PC to test with was at home. I don’t do any kind of theme development at the day job.
