And Another WP Theme Comes to Life

Announcing the release of my second WP theme, “Plane Jane.” It’s pretty much what the site is running now, so you already know what it looks like. Head on over to the Projects area and grab yours if you like it.

Man, I just realized how beat I am. Two WP themes in the last 4 days. This could become a serious addiction…

Give a Kid a Stick…

Okay, so the site theme has changed again. I can’t help myself — I’ve learned something new by making a WordPress style from scratch, and it’s like being a kid with a stick — I’ve got to swing it at something just to hear what it sounds like when I hit it.

If you’re a regular visitor to the site, just expect that the look will undergo many changes over the next month or so as I get my CSS legs firmly planted. If you like something I come up with, let me know & I’ll make it publicly available.

First WordPress Theme Available

My very first WordPress theme is now available for download by the general public. It’s called “Ala Moana,” and it’s pretty much what JMO runs right now, without certain customizations. I guess you could call it an “alpha” release, if there’s such a thing with WP themes. I plan to continue to tweak as it’s called for.

So, pop on over the the theme page and grab yours if you’re a WP user, and you dig the look I’m running the site with.

A Fresh New Look

Okay kids, here it is. That new “look” thing I’d mentioned a couple weeks ago. If you’re reading via RSS client, then you really should click through to the site so you can see my handy-work on the new WordPress theme that JMO uses.

The entire theme was coded from scratch (copying & pasting the necessary WP stuff, of course). Once I got my focus on, it really only took me a couple of days to get 99% of it done. I still have a few things to tweak here and there, but for the most part, this is what it is.

I have plans to produce a series of themes based on it for the general WP public once I’ve got all the niggly kinks ironed out.

So, tell me… Cool — No Cool?
