Another One of Those Handy Tools

I came across another one of those little OS X tools that help to make web development just a little bit easier this morning. For those of you who haven’t heard of it, check out “HexColorPicker” from Lucky Software.

Hexcolorpicker

This little gem adds a new option to the Apple color picker which allows you to select the hex value of the color you’re working with. That was the one thing that always bugged me about the color picker – I had to go into Photoshop to get a hex value from the hsv values, or do some other kind of voodoo.

It’s definitely one of those little productivity enhancers. I’ll be making my donation later today. You should too if you download it and find it useful.

I will be putting together a post on Mac OS X tools that I’ve found to be most handy in my burgeoning web development career. Keep an eye out for that in the very near future.

Oh, and yes – development of Yasu 2 is still coming along (very) nicely…
