Mailplane Clean CSS Updated to v2.0.4

If you’re a Mailplane Clean CSS user, I’ve updated the stylesheet for those of you who’ve enabled the preview pane lab feature. This will make the message body fill the entire space where the people widget was. I’ve also cleaned up some of the code in the file to make it more user friendly.

I’ve started hosting the project on Github, so you can download it directly from there now: https://github.com/jimmitchell/mailplane_css/. Just click on the “Download” button/link on that page.

Important Gmail Lab Setting for Mailplane Clean CSS Use

If you’re using my Mailplane Clean CSS stylesheet with Mailplane and the chat block is still showing up, you need to enable the “Navbar drag and drop” option in the Gmail Labs.

In addition to that setting, I also have the following lab features enabled:

  • Authentication icon for verified senders
  • Auto-advance
  • Background Send
  • Default ‘Reply to all’
  • Flickr previews in mail
  • Google Docs previews in mail
  • Google Voice player in mail
  • Inserting images
  • Mark as Read Button
  • Message Sneak Peek
  • Message translation
  • Move Icon Column
  • Picasa previews in mail
  • Quote selected text
  • Send & Archive
  • Sender Time Zone
  • Undo Send

What other lab features do you use?

Mailplane Clean CSS Update 2.0.2

So it’s been a tad quiet around here for a while. Truth is I’ve been pretty busy with the band and the day job to keep up with other things going on in the Mac community. We’re working to fix that…

At any rate, here’s another quick note to let those who use my Mailplane Clean CSS file know that it’s been updated to version 2.0.2. There are still a few tweaks that need to be made, but it sure does a good job of making a prettier UI.

Go grab yours on the Mailplane Clean CSS project page. Let me know in comments if you have issues or questions.

Mailplane Clean CSS Updated

A quick note to let those who use my Mailplane Clean CSS stylesheet know it’s been updated to version 1.2.3 to hide the bottom row of navigation buttons. Google enginerds made a CSS class change in the Gmail interface which made those buttons start showing up again.

As always, the latest version can be downloaded from the project page.

Mailplane Clean CSS Update

After @chriscoyier told the world just how “badass” my Mailplane Clean CSS stylesheet is on Twitter last night, I realized I’d better clean up the last little bit of niggly issues in case a carp-load of people start using it.

So if you do (use it that is), it’s been refreshed and can be downloaded from the project page here.
