Windows User… Please Read This

You’ve been redirected to this page while trying to download the Apple Macintosh application, “Yasu” (Yet another system utility), which is used to perform system maintenance on the Mac OS X operating system.

This is NOT the “Yet Another SecuROM Utility” version of Yasu that lets Windows users hide the SCSI interface on a Windows PC.

Since it’s probably not the Yasu you’re looking for, I have chosen to deny the Windows operating system access to it in order to save my bandwidth. I’m very sorry, but that’s just the way it has to be. It’s not a dogmatic Mac vs. PC thing. It’s simply about saving the bandwidth I pay for. Period.

Mac User, Browsing via Windows… Read This

If you are a Mac user and need my version of Yasu, my profound apologies for the inconvenience. You’ll either have to have to come back to the site using a Mac running OS X, or drop me a line through my contact form letting me know that you’re a Mac user who’s forced to use Windows for some reason to download, being sure to include the version of OS X you’re running, so I can email you a link to a download that’s not blocked to Windows. Or, as a last ditch option, you *might* be able to download the latest version directly from the Download.com web site (depending on how recent the last release was).

I’m not trying to make your life difficult – I’m simply trying to make mine a little less expensive. Please don’t take it personally (as some other Windows using Mac owners have).

I will not respond to any contact form submissions that don’t provide me the specific OS X version you’re using (to prove that you’re a Mac user). Also, I have no problem banning you from my site should you choose to abuse my contact form because you’re not capable of understanding what I’ve clearly explained to you on this page (It sucks that I have to say that – because it’s happened too many times already).

Remember; this is my site, not yours. Show some respect if you’re looking for a reply.
