@Blackswanimages Thanks for the confirmation re: Yasu. Have not heard anything negative thus far, so final release may be in a few days.

Yasu 2.6.3 RC1 for Mac OS X Snow Leopard compatibility just released via internal AppCast update.

MBP updated to 10.6. Cool new feature: screenshots are no longer “Picture #”. Now titled “Screen shot 2009-08-28 at 10.05.44 PM”. Nice…

Just discovered that Bare Bones Software has discontinued Super Get Info. Damn… http://bit.ly/2SmlEK

MBP cloned & qualified (YOU boot your pre-update backups, right?) Making sure all apps are up to date which should’ve done before backup.

First full run of Yasu on 10.6: Fails on Update Prebinding. All other tasks *seem* to work fine. More thorough testing about to start.

Family iMac almost done updating to 10.6, about to SuperDuper! my MBP too. Note that SuperDuper! was updated today. Downloading now…

@xebrawerx Re: Yasu: Thanks! Installing 10.6 now to test. Hopefully not too bad and can have an update out by tomorrow morning (if needed).

Devs: What’s your favorite cross platform typeface for fields & labels? I’m favoring Arial 11px. Way better than Verdana 10px.

@bhamm recall reading on TechTalk that random function had issues not working w/ multiple NICs, including virtual connections.

Results thus far to my left/right label alignment (assuming fields to right) poll… 4 responses: 2 lefties, 2 righties…

Curse you 6! You will be the death of me yet! Main file in served solution closed & corrupted itself at backup. A little annoyed.

poll: Your preference? Left justified/aligned or right justified/aligned field labels on form layouts?

Thanks to all who tweeted about . Almost felt like I was there, and yet totally jealous that I wasn’t. Next year for sure.

Just discovered sub-summary parts work in 10 list view mode. Where have I been? Love that there’s always something new to learn.

iMac G5 (spare machine) starting to go belly up. Has vertical video stripe about 1” wide in center of mon. Maybe can be a server. Or not.

Had one of those dinky 5 hour energy drinks that guarantee no crash this morning. Got me through presentation, but guess what? I’ve crashed.

@AutomatingData Sadly, no. I won’t be attending . Next year for sure. I do have my 20% FM TechNet discount to fall back on though.

@dwaynewright re: BaseElements - covers ST adequately, though not as own topic. Shown as part of other elements (field, layout, etc.).

Trying out BaseElements by Goya Pty Ltd. Been long time Analyzer/Inspector user, but am impressed enough to probably buy.

Find use of comment script step in helpful in writing scripts. Don’t know why I didn’t utilize it before. Yeah, I do… Laziness.

Trying new beta. Nice. Works well with , except OF has to be manually synced w/ sync svcs. Wish Omni would change that.

via Twitter Web Client

Nice. Task mgmt via OmniTask > Missing Sync > Blackberry > MilkSync > Remember The Milk & back works adequately. For those who wondered.
