Still living in our little beach hut near downtown Huntington Beach. We talk about selling sometimes, but I don’t know if we ever will. Even as whacky as the city can be, we love being less than a mile from the water’s edge in an upscale beach town.

I’ve begun working on a new Micropub publishing app. I have plans to make it freely available on macOS, iOS and iPadOS. I also plan to open source it so real developers can contribute to it.

I’ve gotten my macOS utility, Cache Out – an app for clearing browser data (cache, history, downloads, favicons, and cookies) – to a really good place. Call it a “Yasu Lite” if you will. It supports all major Mac browsers. I’ve not marketed it heavy yet, but there are a few users who are using it and seem to like it.

I’ve resurrected my original Mac utility application, Yasu. I’m excited for this to finally be happening, but I’m taking it really slow. I want to get this one just right.

I’ve built my own CMS that runs this blog with the assistance of Claude Code. It’s amazing how quickly I was able to prototype and refine the project with the assistance of AI. Bow down to our new overlords…

I’m beginning to think more about what retirement looks like. I’m not the type of person who can spend their days on a golf course, but I’ll definitely need to be doing something creative, so I’m getting my self set up to do a little Salesforce consulting on the side. I’ve got a few years yet, but it’s good to get it in motion now.
