We are still living in our little beach hut near downtown Huntington Beach. We talk about selling, but I just don’t know. Even as whacky as the city can be, I love being less than a mile from the ocean in an upscale beach town.

Taking a deep dive into AI. I’m beginning to warm up to the thought of what it can do.

With the help of Claude Code, I’m building my own CMS that runs this blog. It’s amazing how quickly I’ve been able to prototype and refine the project with the assistance of AI. Bow down to our new overlords…

I’ve begun working on a macOS utility app for clearing browser data (cache, history, downloads, favicons, and cookies). It will support all major browsers. The goal is to make this a fun side passion project in order to learn more about SwiftUI.

I’m slowly working on gaining some new Salesforce certifications. My people manager role doesn’t require me to have them anymore, but I feel like I’m losing ground in my industry knowledge. Besides, who knows what the future could hold post-acquisition.

I’ve been giving thought to what retirement looks like. I’m not the type of person who will spend their days on a golf course, but I’ll definitely need to be doing something. So, I’m getting my self set up to do a little Salesforce consulting on the side. I’ve got a few years, but it’s good to get it in motion now.

I continue to rebuild my cardio fitness after my CABG X4 (quadruple open heart bypass) surgery on 6/30/2025, with a goal of getting back to SoCal hiking trails in the spring. I do a brisk walk of at least two miles every day. I’m feeling better than I have in a very, very long time.
