Today’s my last day of cardiac rehab. I’m fortunate not to have had an episode resulting in heart damage. This helped me bounce back quickly.
My return to work is now two weeks away. I both look forward to and dread it at the same time. I’ve come to enjoy the slow pace of the last three months.

Even though I feel pretty darned good, I have to remember some parts of me are still healing. I rolled over in bed last night and managed to pull a spot on my right pectoral muscle. It’s not a bad pull, but it is annoying me this morning.
After watching the Bosch series on Amazon, I’m delving into the Bosch Universe books by Michael Connelly. I really like his writing. After watching the shows, it’s easy to connect Connelly’s characters in my mind’s eye while reading.
I have to be honest… The whole *OS 26 glass look is not bugging me too much. There’s some weirdness here and there, but I’m really not minding it so far. Of course I haven’t delved deeply into my workflows yet, so we’ll see later in the day.
And what’s the first thing I did this morning? I began updating all my devices to their respective OS 26 variants. I swore I wasn’t going to do this… 🤞🏻
Let’s not forget: The US flag flying half-staff today is not for a single right-wing extremist who was assassinated. No. It’s for the nearly 3,000 innocent lives, including eight children, who were murdered on September 11, 2001 – plus the numerous first responders who selflessly came to their aid.
I’ve been able to lock in a return to work date of 10/6 with all my doctors, which is good because the week after is an industry conference (Dreamforce) which my team and I will be traveling to. Having the extra week before will let me get my ducks in a row. I’m so ready to get back to work!
After watching the CNET quick cut of yesterday’s Apple event, there’s nothing for me here. I see no upgrades or updates in my immediate future, including anything OS 26 related.
For the Micro.blog people… Yet another mnml release (2.7.3) that optimizes for previously duplicated featured post home page code and refactors styles even more should be available for you shortly, if not already. ✌🏻
