I’ve made some serious progress on Cache Out over the last week, releasing v1.3.0 this morning. I’ve also defined a solid roadmap that will take me through v1.5.0 and beyond. It feels great to be developing a Mac app again.
Why I Built Cache Out, a macOS App for Clearing Browser Caches
I've spent the last six months working on a new Mac app that clears browser caches, browsing history, download history, favicons and cookies for the top browsers. This is why I did it.
I hit my first golf ball today at a team building outing. All things considered, I did alright. I think I might have to do it again…
I’m slowly making progress on my new Mac app, and am nearly at the point I need to reactivate my Apple Developer account. It’s a simple app really, but I think it might be useful to those who want to quickly clean up files for multiple browsers in one fell swoop. I know I’ll find use from it.

I made some really good progress on my upcoming Mac utility app today, so good I think it might be getting close to making a call for beta testers… So, I guess that’s what this post is. If you’re interested to know more, shoot me an email, which can be found on my site with a little effort.
My “promotion” and new team responsibilities were just shared with the broader IT group of the organization. And so begins a whole new chapter of wrangling nerds and herding cats…
Nice! It appears my OmniFocus Task Sync plugin for Obsidian has made it’s way into the Community Plugins listing…
Looking at the notes I imported the other day, in my mind, it seems as if most of them were published just a few months ago versus a few years ago. I also had a Twitter existential crisis starting in November 2022 that lasted through April 2023. Should I stay? Should I go? Back and forth for months…
I migrated all of my Micro.blog content to my site yesterday, along with images. Apart from intentionally not preserving URL slugs, the import came out clean and I’m pleased with the results.
