New OutPost for Mac and iOS TestFlight

I’m thrilled to share that new releases for OutPost on both Mac and iOS TestFlight are available for download.

Here’s what’s new:

• A new Date row under Status sets the date a post goes out with. Left on “Server default”, your site dates the post when it arrives, as before. Click it to pick a date and time instead, such as an earlier one to backdate a post. Your site decides what to do with a date you pick.
• When you edit a published post, you can change its date too.
• Drafts keep the date you picked.
• Dates now go to your site in your own time zone rather than in UTC, so a site that shows the time as it was sent shows the time you picked.
• For iOS, the disappearing formatting bar when switching between sites has been fixed.

The iOS version is really close to an official release. If you have thoughts about how to make the app better, I’d love to hear them now.
