I love when I browse another blogger’s site and find them using an appealing web font. I especially like when that font is available to use freely. Thanks to Sebastian, I’ve updated the faces on my site to DM Sans and I think it works pretty well in the overall design.

If you have a blog and you publish content regularly, you really should include an RSS feed of some kind. It’s readership lost otherwise. I tried subscribing to a site that looked interesting today but it had no feed. Sorry friend, I probably won’t be back. Just saying…

This is a quick note published from my new Micropub client app on a Mac different than my development machine. I’ve been testing the iOS and iPadOS versions on my hardware too. My OmniFocus Task Sync plugin for Obsidian has officially hit 200 downloads on the community site, with nary a peep from anyone who’s downloaded it. That’s a good thing, right?

I totally agree with Andrew on this. I write everything in Markdown to the extent I possibly can and having to convert it to Word or Google Doc for someone else is a major pain. I think more people should take the time to learn the syntax.

Every time I try to switch to Ivory as my Mastodon client, I find myself switching back to Mona after just a few days. The reason being? It’s all about the threading. I love being able to see a toot in context. Just saying…

It’s been a really long Sunday morning on a deployment call with a direct report and consultants. What was supposed to be two hours max turned into four and a half hours, mostly due to unpreparedness. This one definitely needs a post-mortem meeting… Maybe I can salvage the rest of the day.
