I 100% agree with Andrew on this one. I write everything in Markdown to the degree it’s possible and having to convert it to Word or Google Doc is a pain.
Every time I try to switch to Ivory as my Mastodon client, I find myself switching back to Mona after just a few days. The reason being? It’s all about the threading. I love being able to see a toot in context. Just saying…

It’s been a really long Sunday morning on a deployment call with a direct report and consultants. What was supposed to be two hours max turned into four and a half hours, mostly due to unpreparedness. This one definitely needs a post-mortem meeting… Maybe I can salvage the rest of the day.

The all-hands event is done. Some minor glitches, but considering there was zero opportunity given for a dry-run, I think it turned out okay. It’s funny to hear conversations around me now that I’m back at my desk. Everyone has an opinion. I’m making a list of the haters so I can recommend they do the job next time.
The A/V experts came in this morning to review my setup for the all-hands meeting tomorrow morning. Both gave it a thumbs up and actually complimented me on my work. Feather, cap, say hello.
I managed to get myself voluntold to be the person who sets up and runs tech for a company all-hands meeting next week because of the fact that I know the difference between an XLR and RCA cable. That means today will be a guessing game of what the previous person did to make these things happen. Oh, and I have to keep the seven meetings I already had on calendar for the day too.
