Tab Beniot was a great show at the Coach House last night, and is as good live as his recordings. I’m so glad we finally saw him. The last time we had tickets, we were both under the weather and decided to skip the show. Bucket list artist achieved.

The opening act was The Zac Schulze Gang, a high-energy, super-tight trio out of the UK who were really impressive.

As an added bonus, we ran into old friends we haven’t seen in nearly 10 years and got to catch up with them before the show.

Speaking of my site, I think I can finally say with 99.9999% certainty that I am satisfied with the design and functionality. It’s taken six months and several hundred commits, but it’s been worth it. In it, I’ve been able to reduce posting friction to a minimum, so there’s no reason not to write.

Nick Gray from slashfriends.org contacted me yesterday, proposing I add a “/friends” page to my site. Since I was working on a blogroll page anyway, which is essentially the same thing, I pivoted and updated the page accordingly. I think it’s a clever idea. The whole Indieweb ethos is to connect with others, so, why not join in? I’m not done adding people, so don’t be sad if you’re not listed yet.

I installed macOS Beta 27 on my personal daily driver yesterday. So far, it appears pretty stable, and looks a heck of a lot better. I did discover that Cache Out seems to have some full disk access problems, so I’ll need to work them out at some point this weekend.

I’ve been grinding pretty hard and fast on a bunch of different code-related projects over the last few weeks and am beginning to see the warning signs of a case of burn out on the horizon. It’s time to slow down on development projects for a while and just focus on writing more.

Okay… Setup for the smaller team all-hands is complete and tech-tested. Instead of taking three days, this one only took an hour. I can probably get it down to 30 minutes for the next one - which I’ve been assured there will be many more of. Such is life when you step up. Renaisance Man… Yep. That’s me.

Taking a look at Dinkus as an alternative Markdown editor this morning. Though it will never replace Obsidian for me, I like what I’m seeing so far - and for a reasonable price.

Teaser… I had flash of inspiration to do a thing this morning, and I’m not sure why I didn’t think to do it sooner. So, a cool thing (at least I think so) is coming soon.

I spent some time working on my Micropub publishing app today, getting it to a good place for both Mac and iOS. It works with Micro.blog too.

Now it’s time to dig into what it’s going to take to release it as a Test Flight version so others can try it out.
